At a young age, Ms. Sterling became the sole caregiver for elderly parents and has navigated the American health care system from the inside. As a result of her experience as an end-user of our health care system, she has seen the effectiveness of some programs and the deficiencies in others. This personal experience and acute understanding of the current health care system feed her passion for improvement in the current system, with an end goal of making health care in America safe, simple and affordable to all citizens, regardless of capabilities.

Ms. Sterling’s volunteer work includes public policy advocacy for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Ms. Sterling is a Certified Enterprise Architect who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
